Does the value column represent the amount owed on the loan for the property? Is this the amount for which I could purchase the home? I am curious about buying a foreclosure, but don't know very much about this process.

Great question Lori. The "Value" column is the current tax assessed value (what Leon County Florida has assessed for its value) and has no bearing on what it is worth, nor how much is owed on it. The list that you are looking at is the "Lis Pendens" filings for January 31, 2010. This means the foreclosure process has just begun for the properties and most likely will not culminate for 6+ more months.
