Daily Home Buyer Activity In Tallahassee February 5, 2010

The 365 Day Trend of daily closed home sales in Tallahassee is really neat to watch. Every single day we get to see a "mini move" in the housing market. Back in August we reported that Tallahassee might have found the bottom of the market. As time goes on it looks like we were right (it takes hindsight to prove a market turn). The really neat thing is that we had the ability to "call the bottom" within days of it happening!

When we observe a longer period of time on the daily closed home sales in Tallahassee, we get a much better feeling for how severe the drop has been. Our daily home sales in the Tallahassee MLS had fallen to nearly 6 per day, after averaging closer to 8 per day for the previous 15 years!
