Camellia Oaks is Tallahassee's first neighborhood designated for property owners aged 55 years old and older and contains 143 attached and detached condominium units.
Located on the south side of Mahan Road, nearly two miles past Capital Circle Northeast, Camellia Oaks offers a quieter neighborhood compared to those with families that have children living at home.

As a neighborhood for the 55 and "better" crowd, schools should not be an issue or part of the home-buying process. The condominium rules of the neighborhood disallow anybody under the age of 19 to reside in Camellia Oaks for more than 30 days in a total calendar year. Nevertheless, for those residents who might potentially want to volunteer as local mentors, we have included the links for homes in the Leon County public schools that serve Camellia Oaks.
