Technorati Noticed The Tallahassee Real Estate Blog

Technorati has noticed. With our massive site change at the end of December, the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog fell "off the grid" for a while. Our google rankings dipped a little, and Technorati real estate blog rank dropped out of the top 100. But not any longer!

The Tallahassee Real Estate Blog has moved to #2 on the Technorati Real Estate Blog ratings. This is our highest ranking thus far, but we don't want to rule out #1!

For those readers who have not heard of Technorati, it is an Internet search engine used by millions of people for searching blogs. By June 2008, Technorati was indexing nearly 113 million blogs and over 250 million pieces of tagged social media. This is an immense amount of content and to be ranked among the top 4 blogs in the real estate category is great recognition for a blog in a small market area.

A Technorati ranking is based upon a site’s linking behavior, categorization and other associated data over a short, finite period of time. A site’s ranking may rapidly rise and fall depending on what the blogosphere is discussing at the moment, and how often a site produces content being referenced by other sites. So ultimately, this is something like popularity, it does not last forever.

One of the ways that the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog stays so popular is by soliciting feedback from its readers. We are constantly trying to deliver content that is based upon current reader interest. By staying close with our readers, we feel that we can continue to deliver relevant, interesting, and timely information that home sellers and home buyers find to be important.
