Area Home Prices Move Higher
The average price of homes in each county in our area is shown in the map above. The information comes from the Tallahassee MLS, so real estate agents in outlier counties such as Franklin, Liberty, Madison, and Taylor don’t necessarily post as many of their sales as do those that are closer to Leon County.
The tables below show a count of sales, average prices, average values, and average home sizes sold in 2021.
Leon County accounts for nearly three quarters of all sales, while Wakulla County is showing the highest level of growth.
Buyers get the most home for the money in Madison County, while those in Franklin are paying the most (primarily due to coastal sales). Homes are getting more expensive in all our counties.
