Real Estate Service Matters When You Move

Tallahassee Real Estate ServiceMy family has spent the last few days moving and of course we had great real estate service from our REALTOR in Tallahassee :) . After living in the same location for 8 years, the amount of “stuff” we had amassed blew me away. Apparently a family of 5 gathers more belongings than a traveling circus on a worldwide tour.

The move wore me out, but it allowed me to walk in the shoes of our customers who rely on our real estate service to help them during a very chaotic time in their lives. I was able to evaluate the many things that our company does for customers, as well as the services of all of the other businesses who are involved in moving a family from point A to point B.

Real Estate Service Matters When You Move

The first thing I re-discovered is how important our real estate service is for our customers. So many variables determine the overall satisfaction for the customer, and I was very pleased with the support we provided from our Real Estate office. I am confident that our customers get our best effort as well. I think the responsiveness rate goals that we set a few years ago really shows during the most chaotic of times, and it was nice to have a friendly voice on the other end of the phone as well.

Of course, not all companies feel as strong about customer service. If anybody has a clue on which company to use for internet service, I would love to hear it. Centurylink proved (again) that they could care less about their customers. We were told to be at the house at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, but they failed to show until 2:30 on Tuesday. I guess they feel that we all have time to wait around for two days before they arrive. Having spent more than 5 hours on the phone with their company, I can assure you that they do not care.

Real Estate Service Wasn’t The Only Great Service

There were some heroes in our move beyond the real estate service that we received, and three of these companies deserve a giant “thank you” from the Manausa family:

Mr. Rooter – You always seem to need a plumber at the most in-opportune times, and we needed one twice during the move. We made a call to Justin Tillman, the owner of Mr. Rooter Plumbing in Tallahassee, and he came not once, but twice to help us during the move. Justin’s phone number is always handy at the Manausa house, and I strongly recommend his customer service friendly company (850) 224-7668.

Jim Gray Designs – For those of you who want the absolute best in Tallahassee home entertainment, the clear choice is Jim Gray. His passion for his work and his exceptional customer service make him the guy that has moved and installed our entertainment systems each and every time. I always refer customers to Jim Gray (850) 509-9473, as I know they will be thrilled with everything he does for them.

Two Men And A Truck – Though my wife Michelle handles working with the movers, I have never seen better than the service we received from Two Men and a Truck moving service. Their slogan is “Movers who care,” and it was evident in the professionalism and hard work that these men provided. I will happily call them  at (850) 224-2232 for any future move.

Now that my move is behind us, I can go back to focusing on real estate in Tallahassee. If you are making a move to or from Tallahassee, we will endeavor to provide the best real estate service that you have ever received.
