Today’s report on Foxcroft in Northeast Tallahassee is one of three neighborhoods (Foxcroft, Shannon Forest and Royal Oaks) that combine to form the stretch of homes on the East side of Thomasville Road from Killearny Way To Velda Dairy Road.
Since they are nestled up against the Western boundary of Killearn Estates, most home buyers consider them part of the Killearn neighborhoods and home values over the past twenty plus years support this implied relationship.
Foxcroft is enjoying a robust year of home sales, and the current pace might bring a 10 year record if the year finishes strongly.
In this report, we will look at home prices, home values, and home sizes in Foxcroft, as well as show current listings in the Tallahassee MLS and all closed home sales going back to 1991.
For each of the real estate graphs found in this report, you will find the number of closed home sales for each year (red columns, measured on the left vertical axis), and an important real estate statistic shown in blue (measured on the right vertical axis).
It is important to note that the narrative contained below is for sales through December for all previous years, but through August in 2015. The graphs and the closed sales table will be continuously updated into the future (meaning bookmark this page if you always want to know the current status of homes in Foxcroft).

Foxcroft home prices have risen more than 8% over last year, as the average recorded sales price is $197,630 thus far in 2015. With prices still below $200,000 it is not a great surprise that buyers have been active here this year. Most of these homes were built in the 1970s and 1980s, but a bold new entrant is trying to sell new construction for nearly double the going rate of the existing homes. Should that home sell, it will certainly impact the average home price in Foxcroft for 2015.

The number of closed home sales in 2014 was the second best recorded in the past 7 years, and we have already surpassed that number in 2015. There have been 15 closed home sales in Foxcroft through August, 2015.

Foxcroft home values are up 8% as well in 2015 after recording a small decline in 2014. If either of the two homes currently listed for sale in Foxcroft get even close to their asking price, we can expect this average value to rise even further.
