For this reason, I secured the Principal Broker relationship with Cartus in 2000, and for the past 11 years have worked hard to strengthen our relationships with the top relocation company in the world.

Cartus is a company that is a relocation service provider for large corporations and their employees when the company decides to move them to another part of the country or world. The role of Cartus in this is to provide the expertise and relationships required when moving people from one community to another.

When a local home buyer decides to buy a home, so much of the process of moving is not a big deal. But when a buyer from another community relocates to Tallahassee, many more concerns need to be addressed. A relocation expert will make that process go much smoother.

I focused my talk on the content marketing process that we have developed at our Tallahassee Florida real estate office. This process is being recognized all over the world as a better way to expose and promote the properties that we are selling.

Even though Tallahassee is a relatively small market compared to those of the giant offices that were in attendance, we have established ourselves as the most advanced internet marketing firm in the CARTUS Broker Network.

The questions that my talk prompted showed me that even the giants in the real estate industry are struggling to understand how to implement change in their marketing efforts. So many are married to the traditional systems and processes for marketing a home that they are failing to gain traction in a new world where a progressive internet marketing plan is needed to expose a home to the majority of potential buyers that exist for it. With 94% of those buyers spending their shopping time on the internet, these companies need to make the leap now to a technology-driven marketing plan.
