And The Winner Is…Bonnie Burns!
Over one hundred people visited 830 East Park Avenue during the two weekends of the 2010 Parade of Homes.
The convenient location of the downtown Tallahassee condominium conversion project attracted visitors from many demographics – students, young professionals, young families, mature professionals, and “empty nesters.” But it was the high-end design products and spacious floor plans caught everyone by surprise.
“Wow – this is beautiful!” “Great use of space!” “It’s much bigger than I thought it would be!” “I LOVE this kitchen!” “It’s so nice to have that patio space!” were comments heard over and over as visitors toured the models.
Nearly all guests completed a registration form for the drawing of the 32” flat screen television/DVD combination on display in the living area of the 2-bedroom model.
And the winner is … Bonnie Burns!
Bonnie and her husband Randy regularly tour the Parade of Homes entries. “We enjoy seeing what’s new on the market. I was an Interior Decorator when we lived in Orlando, and Randy likes to see construction features.”
“I thought there was a great use of space, with realistic sizes and placement of furniture. There is wonderful light coming into the space,” Bonnie commented.
“When we first moved to Tallahassee in 1984, we lived in Indian Head. We were close to everything and participated in many Tallahassee events. Ten years ago we moved farther out, and when we arrive home after work, we just stay home. Now that the children are grown, we’d like to live close to downtown again. 830 East Park Avenue is in a great location.”
