Mission San Miguel is a popular east-side of Tallahassee neighborhood filled with more than 60 new and newer three and four-bedroom homes on an acreMission San Miguel is a popular east-side of Tallahassee neighborhood filled with more than 60 new and newer three and four-bedroom homes on an acre.

When construction completes, there will be 79 homes that enjoy wonderful amenities which include a community center, swimming pool, tennis courts, a bike path, small ponds, walking trails, and more.

Mission San Miguel is zoned for the following Leon County public schools:

This Mission San Miguel neighborhood report includes charts and graphs that display average home prices, home values, and home sizes, as well as a list of the most recent closed home sales in Mission San Miguel.

For each of the three real estate graphs found in this Tallahassee housing report, you will find the number of closed home sales for each year (red columns, measured on the left vertical axis), and an important real estate statistic shown in blue (measured on the right vertical axis).

It is important to note that the narrative contained below is for sales through December for all previous years but through three weeks of June in 2020. The graphs and the closed sales table will be continuously updated into the future (meaning bookmark this page if you always want to know the current status of homes in Mission San Miguel).

The average price of the homes sold in Mission San Miguel thus far in 2020 is $384K, which is much lower than year's average. Does this mean homes here are getting cheaper?

Homes are gaining in value, not declining. The wide array of home ages and sizes, coupled with relatively low sales activity will wreak havoc on the average price graph for many more years to come.

Activity in Mission San Miguel is good, as the combination of low-inventory (little competition), the newer age of the homes, the neighborhood amenities, and the large parcels of land upon which they sit makes Mission San Miguel a very desirable place to live.

The average size of homes sold in Mission San Miguel typically falls in a wide range from 2,000 to 2,500 square feet, but due to relatively low sales volume, we occasionally see values fly outside of the high-end of this range.

2020 is setting in to be a typical year when we look at the home sizes of those that have sold (and will soon be sold). It started off with some larger homes selling, but by year's end, we should be in the middle of the normal range. Currently, the average size of the homes sold in Mission San Miguel in 2020 has been 2,489 square feet.
