Eva Armstrong's Satisfied Repeat Client
Several years ago I helped a young PH.D candidate find a house in Tallahassee and she not only remembered my name, but liked my service enough to ask me to list the house. With her degree in hand she has been offered a job in Utah, so must sell the wonderful home she created for herself here in Tallahassee.
At the time she bought it, short sales were just becoming the “in” thing in Tallahassee (tongue in cheek). To add to the complexity, the owner had passed away and his family was managing the estate.
The house is a cute 1950’s 2/1/1, with a huge back yard and great location. The previous owner had let it get a little run down, so my seller made some upgrades like windows, appliances, and refinishing the original hardwood floors. It looks great. So good in fact that after listing the house on May 1st, we had an offer 2 days later!
I have been surprised by the number of seller’s that choose an agent other than the one that sold them their home, but found the answer recently through one of NAR’s many surveys. The reason most seller’s give is they can’t remember their real estate agent’s name from when they bought the house!
That seems like a fairly easy problem to solve, fellow agents. So keep this in mind and stay in touch AFTER the closing.Eva Armstrong(850) 386-2001
