Hottest Zip Codes For Home Sellers

Home values are rising in Tallahassee, but appreciation rates differ a good bit by zip code.

The graph above plots the average price per square foot each year for single-family detached homes on the resale market. What we are seeing in 2019 (vs 2018) thus far shows:

• 32301 + 6.2% • 32303 + 4.4% • 32308 – 0.4% • 32309 + 1.0% • 32311 + 7.4% • 32312 + 0.9% • 32317 + 1.4% Only the 32308 zip code showed a decline, but considering it rose 12% last year, I don’t think it is cause for alarm.

Values Versus Market Bottom The following list shows how each zip code has grown since market bottom seven plus years ago:

• 32301 + 41.9% • 32303 + 46.3% • 32308 + 41.5% • 32309 + 39.7% • 32311 + 39.4% • 32312 + 30.7% • 32317 + 37.4%
