The Tennyson is a ninety-unit vertical condominium development in downtown Tallahassee that offers large private balconies with panoramic views of the Capitol Building, the FSU stadium, Cascades Park, and more.

The Tennyson is located in downtown Tallahassee on North Monroe Street, thus residents are merely a short walk to dining, nightlife, entertainment, and the State Capitol complex.

It is important to note that the narrative contained below is for sales through December for all previous years, but through 25 days in June of 2019. The graphs and the closed sales table will be continuously updated into the future (meaning bookmark this page if you always want to know the current status of condos in the The Tennyson).

The Tennyson Average Condo Prices

Just four condo units in the Tennyson have sold this year, one a large penthouse which has skewed the average price to $343K, a number that will be falling as more "normal" units sell in the future.

The downtown condo market remains a buyers' market as there are far more sellers than buyers.

Condo sales activity in The Tennyson remains sluggish. Currently, there are eleven condo units listed for sale in The Tennyson, and only one of them is under contract with a buyer (listed by our firm). The saturation of condominium units in downtown Tallahassee that are for sale continues to weigh down prices.

The Tennyson Average Condo Values

Average condo values in the Tennyson have moved nearly 6% higher thus far in 2019. Proceed with caution though: With only four units sold and one of them being a penthouse that went for $259 per square foot, "average" can be misleading.

The average value of the four condos sold in The Tennyson is $226 per square foot. The average value sans the penthouse sale is $215 per square foot.

The average condo unit size in The Tennyson typically falls in a range of 900 to a little more than 1,500 square feet, and 2019 is no different, though a large penthouse sale in February has the average much higher than last year.
