Condominium and townhouse sales in Tallahassee have done far better than have single family detached homes. Year to date, our Tallahassee condos sale has performed similarly to the years in the mid 90s. While this is not as good as a few years ago during the boom, it certainly beats the all-time-lows that single family detached home sales are recording.
Existing Condo And Townhouse Sales Relatively StableWhen we look at unit sales trends, we see that Tallahassee condominiums and townhouses are selling at unit levels consistent with what was sold in the 1990s. Average prices are down less than 10% from the height of the market, but much of this is due to the more expensive units being sold in downtown Tallahassee.
New Condo And Townhouse Construction In Tallahassee
While the condo and townhouse market have certainly cooled, new units are selling at levels consistent with many different years in the past. Due to the increased cost of land development, the condo and townhouse markets will most likely grow at a faster rate than will single family detached homes.
