Why Save Your Property Search
The word is out that we are developing the premiere Real Estate FAQ Page (Frequently Asked Questions) and we are starting to receive some great questions. Today we will answer a recent reader question who wanted to know how to simplify his home searching process. Zach wrote:
I really like your property search function with everything on the map. However, is there a way to conduct the search and limit the results to new listings. While I like to peruse the available homes, after looking at all the homes in the areas I am interested in it becomes slightly cumbersome to attempt to find new listings every week when I have to sort through all the old listings as well. If there is a way to filter your results in this manner please tell me how. And if there is not such a way, I think it would make a great addition.
Thank you, Zack
Well, good news for Zach, as this tool has been available on the Property Search Page for over a year. When you click on this link from our Real Estate FAQ page below, the link expands into a step-by-step video on how and why to save a property search.

Save Your Property Search With SearchSaverSM
This tool allows you to save searches to your "SearchSaverSM" folder so you can conveniently manage and view your searches at any time and receive email notification when new listings, that fit your search criteria, become available. The first time that you save your search, you get the list of all homes that meet your property search criteria. Later, you get notified of new listings that meet your criteria or ones that have changed to meet your criteria. When you run a search that you would like to add to your "SearchSaverSM", click the tab located on the top of the page that says "SearchSaver." |

So Zach, I hope this answers your question about "new property listings" and how to make your property search more effective. Additionally, when doing a quick search, you can sort the results by "Date Listed" by using the drop down arrow in the "Choose Sort Order:" box.
Good luck with your Tallahassee property search and keep your feedback coming!
