Positive Renewal For Ox Bottom Manor Home Sales

2012 has brought a much needed renewal to Ox Bottom Manor home sales, and our report shows that sales in this popular NE Tallahassee neighborhood are at a 9 year high, and we'd have to go back to 2003 to find more sales through July of the year.
If you want to buy an Ox Bottom Manor home, there are 14 homes for sale in the Tallahassee MLS, and the graph at the top right shows that 19 homes have sold and closed thus far in Ox Bottom Manor this year.
Distressed properties have accounted for 32% of the home sales this year, which is higher than we'd like to see, but far lower than the 44% level through July in 2011.
Ox Bottom Manor Home Prices
The average sales price of an Ox Bottom Manor home through July has been $296,700, which is down 32% from the peak of the housing market. Low prices and low interest rates are certainly helping fuel the recovery in Ox Bottom Manor home sales.
Ox Bottom Manor Home Values
The average value of an Ox Bottom Manor home has declined 27% since the peak of the housing market, and current sales are being recorded at the $116 per square foot level.
