Housing Inventory Continues To Decline February 1, 2010

Great news continues in Tallahassee. Short term home inventory levels continue to decline, even though historically we expect to see a rise this time of year. We had thought that we would see a crossover, from declining to rising, once we hit the last week in January.

Housing Inventory Levels In Tallahassee

When we look at the real estate graph above, homes coming on the market are represented by the red field, homes departing the market are shown in green, and the difference between the two are shown in yellow. Any time we see the red color "poke out" from behind the green, we know that inventories are rising.

Thus far, we can say "so far, so good!"
