Goose Creek Meadows and Goose Creek Fields, collectively Goose Creek is the collective name given to Goose Creek Fields and Goose Creek Meadows, two small adjacent neighborhoods located on the east side of town.

Offering homes that are not yet twenty years old, Goose Creek current allows buyers to purchase 3 and 4-bedroom homes for less than they would find in other NE Tallahassee neighborhoods.

Goose Creek Home Price Trends

Average home prices in Goose Creek continue to fall, with the current average asking price at $269K and the average sold price at $245K.

Activity in Goose Creek remains much slower than what we have seen in the past couple of years. Currently, there are five homes for sale in Goose Creek and just one is under contract.

Goose Creek Home Value Trends

Average home values in Goose Creek are up nearly 3% in 2019 when compared to the average closed in 2018, which is lower than what we found in our previous report on Goose Creek.

The 8 homes sold and closed in Goose Creek in 2019 averaged $144 per square foot, which is an increase of 44% since the bottom of the market in 2012 and down just over 1% from the peak in 2006.

Goose Creek home sizes typically fall in a range of 1,600 to 2,000 square feet, and this year has been no different.
