Eva Armstrong
Eva has been a member of the Joe Manausa Real Estate Team since early 2007, following a successful eight years directing Florida government’s real estate division.
In that capacity, Eva was responsible for the purchase of 1.1 million acres of conservation lands for $2.3 billion (yep, that’s right!), providing Floridians and visitors with additional recreational opportunities throughout the state while protecting sensitive habitats for our unique wildlife for future generations to enjoy.
Her crowning achievement was the purchase of Babcock Ranch – a 71,000 acre working ranch that straddles Charlotte and Lee County. Done in partnership with a developer, the original 94,000 acres was divided so the most disturbed area was set aside for development into a new town and the remainder protected by the state in perpetuity so Floridians can enjoy the benefits of cracker cattle, a 17,000 acre swamp, and wildlife that use and enjoy the ranch.
Eva grew up in Tallahassee, graduating from FSU in 1971 with a BA in English. Her first job was working for the State of Florida where she eventually spent most of her career working on policy development in several different agencies, eventually finding a preference for environmental issues.
Since joining the Joe Manausa Real Estate Team, Eva has been contributing her real estate and negotiation expertise to the local market. Her “can do” attitude and willingness to find solutions to problems proves helpful in many situations.
Eva is also an avid cyclist, loves the outdoors and traveling.
