Located in the East Wing of the Florida State University’s Fine Arts Building, this museum offers numerous exhibits of Western and Asian art. Perhaps best known for it’s "guest-curatorial" exhibits, the museum has presented works by George Blakely including his "The Gun as Image" along with Robert Fichter's "Florida Photogenesis". Once you enter the doors of this facility you will be greeted by a colossal mastodon. Over 44,000 artifacts tell the intricate story of the history of the state of Florida. Offering a vast selection of antique cars dating back to the early 1860's, the Tallahassee Antique Car Museum provides a fascinating glimpse at automobiles of long ago. This museum is home to an extensive collection of beautiful antique cars and other specialty collectibles including the horse-drawn hearse that was used in President Abraham Lincoln's funeral procession. Other crowd-pleasing favorites include the actual Batmobile from "Batman Returns" and a mint-condition 1965 Corvette Grand Sport.

Situated on fifty-two acres of beautiful rolling hills, this plantation home was at one time the residence of Princess Catherine Murat. Numerous other attractions onsite include an African American church and schoolhouse circa 1850’s and a farmstead from the 1880’s. Providing space for the state’s only zoological collection with indigenous animals, the museum also features something for kids of all ages with a gallery, a discovery center, and numerous nature trails and exhibits.
