Ashley was born and raised a Florida girl. She grew up in Orange Park, right outside Jacksonville; spending most of her free time at the beach or helping her stepfather run a successful contracting business. Upon graduation from Orange Park High School, Ashley took up residence in Tallahassee attending Florida State University. She gained her Bachelor’s degree in International Affairs with an emphasis in Middle Eastern Religion, with a minor in Communications in 2008.
After graduation, Ashley spent a number of years working at Home Depot designing kitchens and bathrooms for homeowners in Tallahassee. Upon leaving, she spent several months with nothing but a backpack and what she could fit in it exploring Europe on her own. She spent time in Italy, France and Spain soaking in the culture and developing a love for travel. She picked up an affinity for great wine, and even better food. Ashley spent the last several years working for the State of Florida in a variety of positions.
Ashley has developed a deep love for southern tradition, and when not working can be found finding new ways to enjoy the culture Tallahassee has to offer.
She enjoys outings with her camera, and capturing the many landscapes around town, from the concrete to the country. Ashley also enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Joe and two dogs, Ted and Fran. During football season, Ashley can be found at the nearest place the Seminoles are playing, if not next to the field, and considers herself a die-hard Seminole fan. Scalp ‘Em!!
