Summerbrooke home sales are “fighting the fight” that we are seeing in most Tallahassee neighborhoods. Home prices are still dropping in Summerbrooke, but monthly sales are on the rise, which is a major step in moving the market towards a balance between supply and demand.

I was recently looking into home values in Unit 2 of Killearn Lakes Plantation and figured that my results would make for an interesting blog post at the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog. Killearn Lakes is the most active subdivision in Northeast Tallahassee, so I knew that whatever I found would be an important representation of current activity in the Tallahassee housing market.

Tallahassee has a lot of subdivisions for the number of homes in town. In 2009, there were home sales recorded in 806 of these Tallahassee neighborhoods (legally called Subdivisions). I decided to take a fairly quick look to see which neighborhoods were selling the most properties.
