Due to the stable growth in the Tallahassee real estate market, we typically see 98 sales for every 100 permits pulled in Leon County, Florida. Mirroring our 2.x% growth rate, this shows that households seem to grow proportionately with population growth. The chart below tracks the trend of new sales to the trend of new permits. The red line is "normal," so anywhere we see activity above the line we are reducing inventory, whereas activity below the line we are adding to the inventory.
