counties around Tallahassee are faring in our current market cycle.
Leon County – Leon County continues to see general upward
movement in the average sales price of a residential housing unit. Currently,
the average price of a home in Leon County is $209,000.
Wakulla County – Wakulla County has seen a reversal in the
average price of a residential housing unit. When the booming market was upon us, Wakulla’s
average price was growing. Now that the market has slowed, it is receding. Currently,
the average price of a home in Wakulla County is $164,000.
Gadsden County – Much like Leon County, Gadsden County
continues to see an upward movement in the average sales price of a residential
dwelling unit. Currently, the average price of a home in Gadsden County is
$152,000.
Jefferson County – Jefferson County has seen the most fluctuation
in the average sales price of a housing unit. Jefferson County’s average home
price shot up during the boom and has since back fallen back to a level just
higher than the pre-boom values. Currently, the average price of a home in
Jefferson County is $154,000.
