Tallahassee Neighborhoods

Tallahassee NeighborhoodsDid you know that there are over 1,840 recognized Tallahassee neighborhoods (subdivisions) that have been recorded in Leon County?

These "communities" range in size from 1 home to several thousand, but most average less than 10 homes. This informal growth pattern has provided the "charm" that so many residents here enjoy, but it also creates a difficult home shopping experience if the buyer is not familiar with the Tallahassee area.

Map Of Tallahassee Neighborhoods

The following is an interactive map of some of the most active subdivisions in town.

For people with an active interest in the Tallahassee real estate market, I recommend bookmarking this page!

Note how subdivision names are listed on the left, and most of them appear on the right. You can zoom in and out of the map, and you can click on any name in the list and it will take you to that neighborhood on the map.

If you click on the neighborhood locator on the map face itself, it will bring up a link to the homes for sale in that specific neighborhood. Pretty neat huh?

Subdividing The Tallahassee Neighborhood Web Page

Our Tallahassee neighborhoods webpage had grown so big that it now comprises nearly 30 separate pages on the Tallahassee Real Estate Website. We have gathered a collection of articles that include references to many of our Tallahassee neighborhoods, and they have been sorted and organized by each separate subdivision. Additionally, each page includes a link to the homes for sale in each Tallahassee neighborhood, so you do not need to scour the internet when all of the homes in the Tallahassee MLS are right here!

When you click on the alpha-link below, you will be taken to a page that lists all of the neighborhoods that begin with that letter. For example, if you click on the letter "K," you will be taken to a page that contains all of the Tallahassee neighborhoods that begin with the letter "K".

Additionally, we have created a special page that features the most recent articles involving Tallahassee neighborhoods, which typically includes as many as 10 written within the past month. We are very committed to staying on top of the latest real estate market movements, thus we continuously monitor and report on the more active neighborhoods in the Tallahassee real estate market.

Please enjoy our Tallahassee neighborhoods, both here in the form of a real estate report, as well as in person in our wonderful Tallahassee community. If you find that we have missed any specific neighborhoods, please comment below and let us know which one(s) we are missing.

You can click any letter-link below to see more Tallahassee neighborhoods:

A question: how to determine which neighborhoods/areas will suit us. Aside from price range how can we tell where to start? Even using your search criteria, there are way too many possibilities. Even if we eliminate the golf course properties (not interested in golf or country club) how else can we narrow it down to just a handful of neighborhoods/areas?

I think a brief conversation by phone, then sending you back to the property search tool would make all the difference in the world. We can arrange that at your convenience.
