Real Estate Inventory Tells The Tale

Sometimes if we look hard enough, we can find something new to report in the Tallahassee real estate market. Today, I have produced real estate inventory graphs that show what appears to be a change in the direction of growth in residential inventory. If you refer back to a previous article on real estate inventory in Tallahassee, we thought we might be seeing something to indicate a directional change in residential inventory (the amount of homes on the market has been growing, now it appears that the amount of homes on market might actually be shrinking). Below, we can see inventory trend charts from 180 day trend down to a thirty day trend. The short trends are showing reduction, while the longer trends are showing growth. It will be exciting when the one year trend shows reduction, as that will eliminate all doubts.

As we move further into the future, my pipeline of data will get stronger and stronger. The following chart will be very beneficial once we can add the 1-year trend (remember, the 1-year trend removes all variances due to seasonality in the real estate market). Tallahassee Home Inventory
