Gadsden County, Florida is located to the northwest of Leon County and has been a “bedroom” community of the Tallahassee real estate market for a long time. We have seen many great values on homes in the communities of Gadsden County, and it is quite often that Tallahassee home buyers stray a little to the north to take advantage of the land values there. Even Tropical Storm Fay Can’t Stop The Tallahassee Real Estate Blog

Readers asked for it, and Century 21 First Realty is delivering the goods. I have received numerous requests to give reports on the surrounding counties that are included in the Tallahassee real estate market.
Lot prices in the four-county area of the Tallahassee real estate market have risen quite a bit. The blue line (Jefferson County) is off the chart due to a very expensive land deal in January of 2008. The trend line for Jefferson County will normalize once January 2009 is posted.
Jefferson County seems to have the least amount of activity going on in the Tallahassee real estate market. The following chart shows the average price trend of Jefferson County homes, lots, condos, townhouses and mobile homes.
Gadsden County seems to have slowed down with the rest of the Tallahassee real estate market. The following chart shows the average price trend of Gadsden County homes, lots, condos, townhouses and mobile homes.
Leon County has been reported about heavily in this blog. I just enclosed a graph for comparative purposes.
Wakulla County has slowed down as well. The following chart shows the average price trend of Wakulla County homes, lots, condos, townhouses and mobile homes.
