What You Need To Know About Gadsden County Homes
If you live in the Tallahassee real estate market, you need to know what is happening in all the counties that surround Tallahassee and Leon County, Florida. One county to our west found prosperous times during the boom years of 2006-2007, so how are they doing now?
Gadsden County Boomed In 2007
While the Tallahassee Real Estate Blog focuses primarily on Leon County Florida homes, I occasionally publish information from neighboring counties because they have a great impact on what is happening in our local real estate market.
Gadsden County Is Down 40% From The Peak
Looking at the graph below, we can see that the number of Gadsden County homes selling each month has trended down to 31 homes, which is 40% off the peak that occurred in May of 2007.
Gadsden County Is Back To Pre-Boom Levels
While unit sales have dropped to pre-boom levels, home prices in Gadsden County have held pretty true over the past year or so. I suspect there will be some downward pressure on pricing as we work to get sales momentum moving forward again.
